How to Earn CP

Now is the time to build. The AetherCycle Fairdrop is designed to reward genuine, early contributors who provide tangible value to the ecosystem. The primary way to secure your share of the airdrop is by earning Contributor Points (CP).

CPs are distributed based on a simple principle: Proof-of-Value. This page outlines the key areas where you can contribute right now to earn your on-chain reputation and a stake in the future of Autonomous Finance.

The contribution process is actively monitored by the founding team. Periodically, a snapshot will be taken, and a new Merkle Root will be generated to allow all eligible contributors to mint their earned CP on-chain.

Upcoming Major Opportunity: The Incentivized Testnet

The upcoming AetherCycle Testnet will be the single largest opportunity for community members to earn a significant amount of Contributor Points.

We are looking for dedicated users to help us battle-test the protocol. Participants will be rewarded for:

  • Identifying bugs or potential exploits.

  • Providing high-quality feedback on the user experience.

  • Stress-testing the economic models under various scenarios.

  • Helping other testers and contributing to the testnet community.

Official dates and details for the testnet will be announced soon. Stay tuned in our community channels for more information.

Ongoing Contribution Categories

Contributions are generally categorized into three main areas.

1. Community & Ecosystem Growth Become a pillar of the AetherCycle community. We reward members who build a strong, educated, and engaged environment.

  • Discord: Be an active and helpful voice. Answer questions, welcome new members, and foster a positive, intelligent atmosphere.

  • Governance & Discussion: Provide thoughtful feedback and engage in discussions about the protocol's mechanics and philosophy.

  • Community Leadership: Take initiative. Organize discussion groups, create community-led resources, or become a trusted ambassador.

2. Technical & Security Contributions Help strengthen the protocol's foundation. This category is for developers, engineers, and security researchers.

  • Code Contributions: Submit pull requests to the official GitHub repository for bug fixes, optimizations, or documentation improvements.

  • Security Research: Responsibly disclose any potential vulnerabilities you discover in the smart contracts. A formal bug bounty program will be announced.

  • Developer Tools: Build tools, scripts, or dashboards that help other developers understand and interact with the AetherCycle protocol.

3. Content & Creative Contributions Help us spread the word about AutonoFi. We reward high-quality, accurate, and creative content.

  • Content Creation: Write insightful articles, create comprehensive Twitter (X) threads, or produce videos that accurately explain AetherCycle's complex concepts.

  • Translations: Translate the official documentation, whitepaper, or website to help us reach a global audience.

  • Design & Art: Create clear infographics, helpful diagrams, or other visual content that captures the spirit and innovation of AetherCycle.

The amount of CP awarded is based on the quality, impact, and consistency of your contributions. This system ensures that the initial distribution of AEC tokens is placed in the hands of those who are truly committed to the long-term success of the ecosystem.
